Moray Flying Circus are delighted to announce we have received funding from the tsiMoray Moray Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund to support our project Circus Connects, in partnership with Findhorn Bay Arts.

Circus Connects will involve running programmes of circus activities in Buckie, Forres, and Keith for 16 – 25 year olds, promoting physical and mental wellbeing through the joy of circus.

Circus benefits confidence and self esteem, creativity and social skills, reducing anxiety and stress. With Circus Connects we want to provide these opportunities by taking circus to under-served communities and harder to reach young adults, that would not normally have such opportunities. We are offering a 5-week programme of free activities, as well as a community open day in each location, and we also have a designated pot of money to support participants to continue engaging in our long-term classes; supporting the legacy of the project.

Buckie workshops will take place on Wednesdays 5.30-7pm at Buckie Townhouse main hall:

19th March, 26th March, 23rd April, 30th April and 7th May.

Forres workshops will take place in May/June, and Keith workshops in September/October.
