Every year we run a week-long holiday camp for children in circus and aerial that ends in a showcase performance for friends and family at Dyke Village Hall. In 2023 we received funding from Moray Council’s Summer Holiday Supplementary Funding pot to support a range of free and subsidised places for low-income families in Moray to attend. In addition to supported places, we also offered travel subsidies and lunches for those who needed it.
As well as the kids summer camp we also ran a creative course for adults. During the week the adults attending created a 20-minute group aerial and floor piece, which they performed as part of the showcase alongside the children. The course also included a photoshoot with some of our adult students in the lovely green space behind Dyke Village Hall.
